Privacy Policy

This policy describes information handled when visitors use Early County Court Docket, a private reference site for Georgia court dockets and records. It covers search-box requests, messages, technical visit data, cookies, outside services, and basic visitor choices. It does not make this site the custodian of an Early County court file. Official court records remain with the court or clerk that maintains them.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

When a visitor enters a name, case number, or other term into a search box, the request is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and returns its own results. Early County Court Docket does not maintain an official case database and does not keep a copy of every term entered into a partner search box.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If a visitor sends a message, the message and contact details may be retained so a reply can be made. Those communications stay within the private operation of this site unless disclosure is required by law, a court order, or a valid legal process.

Data We Gather Automatically

When a page loads, ordinary server and analytics systems may record technical information about the visit, such as:

  • The internet protocol address assigned to the device
  • Browser name, version, and language settings
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and approximate time spent there
  • The referring page, when one is supplied
  • Date and time markers for page requests

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files that can help measure how visitors use the site. Analytics tools may combine visit signals to show which pages receive traffic or where technical problems occur. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although a blocked cookie may change how some features behave.

What We Do With This Data

Collected information may be used for ordinary operation and measurement, including:

  • Keeping pages available, secure, and reasonably fast
  • Routing a search request to the partner that supplies the tool
  • Measuring which reference material visitors use
  • Finding errors, abuse, and performance problems
  • Displaying advertising or sponsored results

No Court-Record Data on File

This site does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of Early County court dockets or personal case files. It publishes routing information about the Superior Clerk, State Court, Probate and Magistrate offices, city courts, the Pataula Judicial Circuit, and the Albany federal division. Georgia’s Attorney General guidance explains that court records follow court procedures rather than an ordinary administrative open-records request. The Uniform Superior Court Rules, including Rule 21, govern access limits and redaction for the court records to which that rule applies. Administrative county records may follow the Georgia Open Records Act request route. Information collected about visitors is not assembled into a consumer report.

Third-Party Search Partners

The search boxes and sponsored results shown on some pages may be operated by third parties. Information entered into those tools is processed under the partner’s privacy terms. Each partner decides how long to retain data, what it shares, what it charges, and how it responds to a request. Review that provider’s policy before submitting anything sensitive.

Links to Other Websites

Pages may link to Georgia Courts, PeachCourt, the Early County government, the Pataula Judicial Circuit, city offices, federal courts, and other official or outside resources. Following a link transfers the visit to another operator, whose privacy policy and terms then apply. Some advertising partners may also measure activity across different sites through their own systems.

A link does not mean that Early County Court Docket controls the destination’s content, security, access rules, or retention practices.

Who Might See Your Data

Personal data is not sold by this reference. Depending on how a visitor uses the site, information may be handled by:

  • Search partners receiving a query from a search box
  • Analytics vendors measuring visits and performance
  • Advertising networks serving or measuring advertisements
  • Service providers supporting hosting, security, or delivery
  • Law enforcement or another authority when valid legal process requires disclosure

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable administrative and technical practices are used to protect information handled by this site. No internet-connected system is guaranteed to be secure, however. A visitor should avoid putting confidential case details, protected identifiers, passwords, or payment data into an unverified form. The official court or clerk should receive a records request that requires protected information.

Users Under 18

This reference is intended for adults. It is not designed to collect personal information from anyone under 18, and no knowing collection of such information is intended. If a minor has sent personal data, a parent or guardian may use the contact route to request review and deletion, subject to any legal recordkeeping duty.

Your Data Rights

Rights can depend on where a visitor lives and on the kind of information involved. Georgia’s court-record access rules are separate from privacy requests to this private reference. For a court file, use the responsible clerk and the applicable court procedure. For information held by this site, a visitor may:

  • Ask what personal information is held about the visitor
  • Request correction of an inaccurate contact detail
  • Ask that information be deleted when no legal duty requires retention
  • Object to or limit certain uses where the law allows

A request can be directed through the Contact page. This site may need enough information to identify the request, but should not receive a court filing or protected identifier merely to process a privacy question.

Updates to This Policy

This policy may be revised as the site’s services, partners, or legal obligations change. The current text will be posted here with a new date. Visitors who want the latest version should check this page before using a search tool or sending a message.
